Cognizant’s refined color palette emphasizes technology and a modern aesthetic.

This represents some challenges in the design process, such as creating charts with enough definition of data, maintaining attention of the reader without being redundant and ensuring defined areas of differentiation.  With a little more attention to the overall balance and flow of colors, the final design shows how elegant it can be when using such a limited color palette.

Imagery for the subject of data and analytics along with COVID was also a challenge for this piece. We decided not to use the typical coronavirus imagery and focused on the data and analytics aspect of the piece. Utilizing illustrations with waves of “0” and “1” digits, microchips and UI layering accomplishes the message of modernization.
